My Entry in The New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest #657

Here is my dogged entry in The New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest #657 for April 8, 2019. The drawing is by Jeremey Nguyen.
"On the Internet, nobody knows you're a human."

Of course, this caption alludes unashamedly to Peter Steiner's famous cartoon from the New Yorker of July 5, 1993:
These captions were all but untrainable:
"This job has gone to the dogs."
"I'm being replaced by a dog wrangler."
"I'm being replaced by a police dog."
"I'm being replaced by a dog walker."
"Seriously, no leashes?"
"I wouldn't mind if we didn't have to walk them."

April 15, 2019 Update:  The Finalists

April 22, 2019 Update:  I voted with Fredericton, but don't ask me to find it on a map.

April 29, 2019 Update:  The Winner

Note:  Last week cartoonist P. C. Vey presented us with a husband on skis reading a newspaper in his living room while his wife explained the situation to a friend. My caption was all uphill from there. Schuss into Contest #656.
