Illustration House will be holding its next auction of fine illustration art on March 15. The featured lot is
N. C. Wyeth's illustration to Herbert D. Ward's "The White Admiral of the Woods" which appeared on page 9 of the August 1919
Ladies' Home Journal. It is included in Christine Bauer Podmaniczky's
N. C. Wyeth Catalogue Raisonné as item #1818. The oil on canvas is 34" x 36" and signed at the lower right. The sale estimate is $125,000 to $175,000.
