My Entry in the New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest #477

Here is my entry in the New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest #477 for June 1, 2015. The drawing is by Mick Stevens.

"But I asked to be in a Playboy cartoon."

I almost had another idea:
"Make her smile."

June 15, 2015 Update:  The Finalists

June 29, 2015 Update:  Winning Caption

Note:  Last week, Benjamin Schwartz's psychoanalyst may have had some keen insights, but they were a tad too late. My caption was ready for Freddy. Bear the appalling results of Contest #476 and always think outside the box.

There's more to be said about Mick Stevens. His caption contest cartoons are as good a place to start as any.
