Say what you will about Ronald Searle, he knew a little something about love. He also knew how to create extraordinarily unique lithographic images on large 50 by 65 centimeter sheets, many of them featuring his delightful cats. Love Feast dates from 1981 when the artist was sixty-one years old. But is Love Feast really about love? Or is this fantasy more about the very human need to savor the moment?
