Boomer's Name That Cartoon Caption for September 2024

I did not enter the Boomer Name That Cartoon Caption contest for September 2024 as it ended yesterday, earlier than I expected. In the July contest, my caption placed dead last out of ten, and and in August my submission didn't even make the top ten. This time, I feel pretty good about not entering at all. I did vote though, and I was the first to do so as you can see—my three choices earned 100% of the votes cast so far. The cartoon is unsigned, evidently created using digital technology—quite possibly with the assistance of a human. I think I will stop following this particular contest.

Boomer's Name That Cartoon Caption for August 2024

Against my better judgment, I've entered the Boomer Name That Cartoon Caption contest for August 2024 with my second submission. In the July contest, my caption placed dead last, and for good reason. This time, I avoided making another atrocious pun and instead went with an obvious enough "see-say" caption. The cartoon is unsigned, evidently created using digital technology—quite possibly with the assistance of a human.

"Bite her, sure—but don't make off with her wig."

September 30, 2024 Update:  The Finalists

I really thought this cartoon was about Cleopatra, but no one else did and my unfunny submission didn't even make the top ten, which is just as well. Even so, I can't bring myself to vote for any of these true finalists.

Boomer's Name That Cartoon Caption for July 2024

The last thing my life needs is another cartoon caption contest, which is why I've entered the Boomer Name That Cartoon Caption for July 2024. I chose a real groaner too, strictly for your reading pleasure, of course. The cartoon is unsigned, evidently created with digital technology—quite possibly with the assistance of a human.

"Wow! She really broke the molt."

September 1, 2024 Update:  My caption earned the fewest votes, and deservedly so.
