Tête

Pablo Picasso personalized in crayon the frontispiece to Waldemar George's 1924 book about the artist. The drawing of a head seems quite simple, perhaps deceptively so. This page, now detached from the rest of the book, was sold in 2010 at Christie's South Kensington for over 2 1/2 times its high estimate.
