This was offered for sale at Christie's New York in a November 2009 sale with an estimate of $200,000 to $300,000. It was either unsold then or, less likely, withdrawn. It is being offered now by Christie's as a private sale. This may be a way of avoiding further negative publicity for a work by a major artist that failed to find a buyer at auction.
