The Atwoods were a prosperous family with a home in Chatham on Stage Harbor Road. Today the house is a museum, acquired by the Chatham Historical Society in 1926. My photos were taken on an August 27 visit.

The Chatham Fish Pier is definitely worth a visit, an easy place to observe harbor seals in the water without the need to board a boat. There, seagulls and seals congregate looking to sample the catch of the day.

The Cape Cod Museum of Art was founded by artists in 1981. Located in Dennis, it shows the work of artists based in the Cape and Islands. These photographs were taken on August 24.
