The Belles Amures silk scarf was designed by Loïc Dubigeon for Hermès in 2002. The scarf features sailing ships, lighthouses, and the points of a compass. There are also some nautical knots. The scarf exists in several color combinations.

Les Folies du Ciel
"Les Folies du Ciel" is a scarf design for Hermès by Loïc Dubigeon. It exists in a variety of colors; this particular example has a pink background. The fanciful design is very appealing, but when you get right down to it, one selects a scarf based primarily on color, so Hermès gives you a lot of choices.
This example in brand new condition will be sold by Heritage Auctions at the end of April.
For men, Hermès occasionally takes the silk with the scarf design and uses it to fashion neckties. Here's an example of "Les Folies du Ciel" with a red background used to create a man's tie, or cravate in French. Design elements of the balloon at the lower left corner of the scarf appear on the wide part of the tie. As you go up the tie, the silk is taken from the scarf diagonally toward the upper right-hand corner. Thus looking at the tie gives you a small sliver of the scarf, something visually intriguing but necessarily incomplete.
