Provenance - According to the consignor, Norman Rockwell talked Hughes into donating this painting for a raffle in Arlington VT in the late 1950's. The consignor (who was 11 at the time) had his name entered by his uncle who was an acquaintance of Rockwell's. He won it, and the painting has hung in his home since then. | x |
