Saul Steinberg's Fish Factory

Saul Steinberg's landscapes can be startling creations. Napeague, the Fish Factory from 1969 is a composition full of rich watercolor technique in three horizontal sections.  Here the top and bottom sections are overlaid with ink stamps of standing men and official-looking insignia, with some fanciful inscriptions as well.
