Here we have the second signed copy of William Steig's The Rejected Lovers (1951) to appear on this blog. Both are stated first editions but this one retains its original dust jacket. This copy is inscribed as well. What more could one want? Available at 125 GBP,  it would make a fine, if slightly belated, Valentine's Day gift.

The Rejected Lovers Signed by William Steig

The Rejected Lovers (1951) is one of many outstanding books by the New Yorker's William Steig. With the book published nearly seventy years ago, it must now be quite rare to find a signed copy in such good condition. It is currently available for $50 from the Reluctant Bookseller who, judging by the name, would just as soon keep it.
