In 1951, Whitney Darrow recounted the early history of the Princeton University Press. He and Charles Scribner were involved in the enterprise from the beginning. Darrow's son, New Yorker cartoonist Whitney Darrow, Jr., provided appropriately-lighthearted illustrations for the volume. A listing on eBay gives us a nice peek at the contents.
