The first art auction catalogue of the fall season has arrived! From the personal collection of interior designers Jan and Monique des Bouvrie in Holland comes Red Life Safer II, one of the most stunning bathrobe images by Jim Dine I've seen. It's a unique piece made with acrylic, oil stick, and black chalk over a relief print, numbered 1/1. The title is pretty annoying though. It will be offered at Christie's Amsterdam on September 6.

ReplyDeleteI'll admit that I hadn't thought of that, Sous-Chef, and I think you make a very good point.
