An untitled 1970 work by Saul Steinberg was given by the artist in December of 1971 to Barbara Nicholls, then assistant to The New Yorker's cartoon editor James Geraghty. Later she became a gallerist and art dealer representing a great many leading New Yorker cartoonists. The ink and watercolor composition is enhanced by rubber stamps and a wax stamp. It consists of three postcard-like landscape views.
