The Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli is a not far from the Colosseum in Rome, but it's easy to miss if you don't deliberately seek it out. When I first visited in 1985 there was a coin-operated lighting system that would illuminate Michelangelo's Tomb of Pope Julius II with the famous sculpture of Moses to facilitate photography. Today camera's handle natural lighting well and this modern innovation is no longer in place, thankfully.
