A New Richter Record

Well, what do you know? On its website, Sotheby's proudly announces a new auction record for a living artist. Gerhard Richter's oil painting Abstraktes Bild (809-4) sold on Friday in London for 21,321,250 GBP. The painting dates from 1994 and is from the collection of Eric Clapton.
