Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! This New Yorker cover by Charles E. Martin shows the sidewalk along Fifth Avenue, looking south. Central Park is behind the wall on the right. St. Patrick's Cathedral is a number of blocks ahead and on the other side of the avenue.
