Over the last two years, auctioneer Howard Lowery sold two fine animation drawings of a grasshopper playing the bass fiddle from one of the most delightful
Walt Disney Silly Symphonies, "Woodland
Café." The 1937 animated short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and it features some of the world's best Big Band bugs. If you can imagine animated insects possessing the energy and the artistry of the big band era, you have an idea of what this unique, jazzy short has to offer.
